This health center receives HHS funding and has federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
Appointments & Walk-Ins: We require patients to call, come into the office or use their Patient Portal account to schedule an appointment. If patients are unable to keep their appointments, it is encouraged that they call the center 24 hours in advance. Bring all medications (pill bottles), immunization records and insurance cards to every visit.
IMPORTANT: For after-hours medical emergencies, please call 911. For other after-hours medical concerns or issues, please call 843-727-2873 or any local satellite locations. Calls are routed to an on-call provider.

Take exit 219B toward Morrison Dr./E Bay St. Turn left onto Mt Pleasant St. (signs for E Bay St./U.S. Rte. 52/U.S. Rte. 78). Turn right onto Meeting St. Turn left onto Cedar St. Turn right at the first cross street onto N Nassau St. Our Charleston Health Center and Corporate Office will be ahead on the left.
– If coming from Mount Pleasant by way of US-17: Take US-17 S into downtown Charleston. Use the right lane to take the Meeting St. ramp to Visitor Center/N Charleston/Columbia/I-25 W. Turn right onto Meeting St. Turn right onto Cedar St. Turn right at the first cross street onto N Nassau St. Our Charleston Health Center and Corporate Office will be ahead on the left.
